Right to Information
Clients have the right to be informed, in a manner that is understandable to them, about their rights and the services provided.


Constitutional and Legal Rights
Clients are entitled to exercise all rights guaranteed by the Constitution and applicable statutory and civil rights, except where limitations have been imposed by legal adjudication or guardianship proceedings.
Appropriate Services
Clients are entitled to services that adhere to professional standards and are tailored to their needs, aiming to improve their condition where effective treatments or developmental training are available.


Human Care and Safety
Clients have the right to receive humane care and protection from harm in all interactions and services provided.
Respect and Non-Discrimination
Clients are entitled to be treated with courtesy, consideration, and respect, free from prejudice from national origin, age, race, color, sex, religion, handicap, or any other protected category.


Religious Practice
Clients have the right to practice their chosen religion and to have their religious practices respected.
Legal and Professional Consultations
Clients can contact and consult with legal counsel and other private practitioners at their own expense.


Visits
Clients are entitled to receive visitors at reasonable times and by established policies.

Mail and Communication
Clients can send and receive sealed mail, access letter-writing materials and postage, and make telephone calls at their own expense.
Personal Possessions
Clients have the right to wear their clothes, keep personal possessions, and have access to individual storage space.


Financial Autonomy
Clients are entitled to manage and spend a reasonable amount of money.
Communication with Others
Clients have the right to maintain reasonable means of communication with individuals outside the facility.

Treatment Choices
Clients can refuse treatment or participate in a habilitation program and be informed of any proposed treatment or program’s nature, effects, and alternatives.


Petitioning for Review
For involuntary clients, there is a right to petition a committing court or hearing officer for a review of their treatment or program.

Ensure Human Care and Protection
Provide humane care and protection from harm in all aspects of service.
Deliver Appropriate Services
Ensure services are meaningful, appropriate, and comply with professional standards and budgetary constraints while maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment.


Obtain Consent for Records
Obtain written consent from the client or their legal representative, if applicable, before releasing any information from the client’s records unless authorized by law.
Process Complaints
Address and decide on complaints within two (2) weeks of receiving them.

Inform Clients of Rights and Procedures
Inform clients about their constitutional and statutory rights and the complaint procedure established by Noble Abode in writing and through their usual mode of communication.
