Day Habilitation
Noble Abode Care has Individual services that encourage learning and help with self-care. Day HABILITATION—INDIVIDUAL (CHIO) services focus on sensory/motor development, socialization, everyday living, communication, community, and social skills.
This goal-based program is designed to provide community-based activities that assist the development of connections and an individual’s natural support system.
This can also be accessible to the Individuals who receive funding from the Indiana Medicaid Waiver program.
This service may help with personal care, meals, doctor’s visits, getting and keeping prescription drugs, shopping, errands, housework, entertainment, and transportation.
Activities integrated with CHIO include leisure or recreational activities, cultural events, spiritual practices, education and training, health and wellness promotion, volunteer-run activities, and company-sponsored activities and events. We also emphasize orientation, mobility, destination training, and navigation of public transportation routes.
