Respite Care
When someone is incapable of taking care of oneself, respite care services are offered to them temporarily due to the absence of their primary caregiver or their need for relief. A camp, a day habilitation center certified by DDRS, the person’s home or place of residence, the home of the respite caregiver, or a non-private setting can all be used for respite care.
When a participant, specifically a caregiver, cannot care for himself, we offer respite care services. These services are temporarily provided to relieve a caregiver or family member.
RESPITE CARE is a non-goal-based service that gives primary caregivers a break to complete activities they need to, without worrying about their loved ones. Respite services provide trained staff on a short-term basis to support participants while the primary caregiver is unavailable. Respite services are typically offered in the family’s home but may also occur in a community setting.
We offer RN and general respite care services in various settings, such as the individual’s home or residence, the respite caregiver’s home, a camp setting, a DDRS-approved day habilitation facility, or a non-private residential setting.
